Renting a Property

There are two options for transferring the account into your name if you rent a home that Ute Water services.

  • Provide our Customer Service Representatives with a copy of your signed lease agreement. You can fax, email, or drop it off at the District office, 2190 H¼ Road in Grand Junction. 
     
  • Have the property owner or property management company contact our Customer Service Representatives and authorize them to change the account into your name.

​A service fee of half of the monthly minimum for transferring the account records will be applied to your first monthly bill.

Submit New Tenant Information

If you are the owner/property manager, please be prepared to attach the completed New Tenant Form. If you are the renter, please be prepared to attach a copy of the signed lease. Requests without these documents cannot be processed.
